Reservation Timing on Cakes

Knowing when to order your cake is usually relative to how extensive the design is. It's never too early, but it can become too late as we only produce a certain number of cakes per date, so we recommend signing an agreement as soon as a decision has been made. Designer Series and Custom Series cakes should be ordered several months in advance to allow for personalization. Classic Series cakes are a little less time intensive and can be ordered on a shorter timeline if the need should arise - two to four weeks is even possible. A signed agreement will allow us to continue the reservation and “finalize” your order.

Reservation Timing on Catering

Catering reservations are also made months in advance – especially for more complex events. Birthday parties, corporate business meetings and other smaller events can book in as little as a few days.

Corporate Catering

To ensure premium quality and availability, we require 48 hours notice Monday-Friday to prepare your selection. Notice for weekend events is needed no later than 5pm on the Tuesday prior to your order. Please see the Corporate Catering Sample Menu for further information specific to our Express Division.
